Dear Diary,
I did my revision surgery yesterday and honestly I feel pretty good. I’m a little sore and all of my anesthesia has worn off so no more headache from that. My throat is a little raw from being intubated and my belly and boobs are a little sore. Nothing is really PAINFUL. But who knows that may change later when then local is totally gone.
I slept pretty well aside from my nurse waking me up at 3:30 am to take 600 mg Ibuprofen and an antibiotic. My nurse really is a trooper. I don’t give him enough credit sometimes. Jimmy you’re the best! I love you. You set your alarms so I stay on my meds and take such good care of me and Kimchi.
Speaking of Kimchi he played with the Patel’s yesterday while I was in surgery and when he came home he wanted to play with me and jump on me like he normally does and we were both quick to tell him no. I’m sure when I see him later he will try to just cuddle but even then that might be uncomfortable for me but we will try it.
If you’re reading this while I’m still recovery I would LOVE a bowl of chicken tortilla soup! Normally I would make it myself but yanno…I’m kind of disabled. I was NPO for almost 24 hrs and when I finally got my animal crackers and ginger ale I was disappointed. Then I got home and had an equally disappointing salad.
Oh yeah another thing I finally figured out how to pee in my faja without peeing on myself. Minimum 2 weeks in this thing. Thankfully I got 2 so I can alternate them. 24/7 unless showering. Umm I’m also gonna remove it when taking a shit because I don’t wanna have to shit in this. Or as Ayi said on Monday with her voice straining “poo poooo”
I haven’t had a chance see my incisions in my areolas where the cannulas were inserted to transfer the fat nor have I seen the incisions for the lipo. I can occasionally feel them though. Sometimes I feel a little tightness in an area or I feel some rubbing that I normally would feel. So until I can shower tomorrow or shit later I’m playing guess where the incisions are. Gotta entertain myself somehow right?
Anyway I guess that’s it for my update for now…-G
